Donner, Blitzen, Vixen, and Prancer,
Comet and Cupid, Dasher, and Dancer,
But which deer is left out?
Come on, give a shout…
Rudolph! That’s the answer!
Donner, Blitzen, Vixen, and Prancer,
Comet and Cupid, Dasher, and Dancer,
But which deer is left out?
Come on, give a shout…
Rudolph! That’s the answer!
There once was a child fast asleep,
While snow fell in drifts soft and deep.
Saint Nick came around,
Not making a sound,
Piled presents in one festive heap!
There once was a fellow named Nick,
Whose sleigh flew astonishingly quick.
With a laugh and a cheer,
He spread joy every year,
Then vanished from sight, swift and slick.
At Christmas the lights softly glow,
And carols drift sweetly and slow,
The stockings are hung,
The sleigh bells are rung,
While outside lies glittering snow.
I struggled to place the star high,
The tree seemed to scrape at the sky,
I cursed at the pine,
Spilled eggnog and wine,
While needles fell straight in my eye.
A bauble so gaudy and bright,
Looked dreadful by day and by night,
Its glitter was cheap,
It’s supposed to be chic!
Yet hung on the tree out of spite.
A fir tree was decked with delight,
Its baubles all twinkled at night.
It looked tree‑mendous,
So bright and stupendous:
A pun that was perfectly right!
A choir sang loud in the square,
Their carols rang crisp through the air.
With harmonies bright,
They warmed up the night,
And spread Christmas joy everywhere.
A reindeer was pulling the sleigh,
But stopped for a snack on the way.
He munched mistletoe,
Made Rudolph aglow,
Father Christmas said, “Lead the way!”
A skater went gliding with grace,
spun circles all over the place.
She leapt in the air,
With panache and flair,
And landed with snow on her face.
